November 6, 2014 after a long illness. ! ! He was born on November 17, 1958 in Lebanon, NH, the son of Merle (Sam) Withington and Eula (Withington) Bowley.! ! He went to elementary school in Hartland and attended Hartford High School.! ! For many years he worked on a carnival, a job he loved. During his time on the carnival he enjoyed seeing much of the United States and parts of Canada. Upon returning to Vermont, he settled in Randolph and lived on his Aunt's farm. He went to work for Vermont Castings for 15 years until his illness forced him to stop working. He spoke often of his many friends and co-workers and how he missed them. In August of 2013 he moved to Bradford to be closer to his sister Sandy and her family.! ! Two of his passions were riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and bringing cattle to fairs throughout New England. Tunbridge, Champlain Valley, Freyburg, and Eastern States were a few of his favorite fairs to attend. He was also an avid Nascar fan.! ! He is survived by his father Sam of Hartland, and mother Eula and stepfather John of North Hartland; four sisters, Jean Walker and husband Michael of Randolph Center, Barbara Jaycox and husband Bruce of Hartland, Patricia Ameden and husband, Donny, of Londonderry, and Sandra Cassidy and husband Michael of Bradford; two brothers, Kenneth (Jake) of Hartland, and Nicholas Bowley of North Hartland; three nieces, and six nephews. He became very close to his nephews Austin and Noah Cassidy, who were always there to help or just to hang out with their Uncle Tim. He is also survived by his one true companion, his chocolate lab, Tuck. He was predeceased by one nephew, Brian Jaycox.! ! A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6th at the Middle Branch Grange Hall (off Rte 14) in East Bethel at 11am. ! !
