William M. Tuttle, Sr.

Vershire, VTWilliam M. Tuttle, Sr., of South Vershire Road, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH following a period of declining health. He was 77.Born on November 20, 1940 in Corinth, VT, he was the son of Allen and Alfreida (Sweet) Tuttle.William grew up in Thetford, VT and attended Thetford Academy.He was a self- employed logger and a brick, block, and stone mason. He was an avid hunter.He enjoyed hanging out with friends and was always good for laughs and a good time. He will be remembered as "a best friend to many and always had an open ear and open door for all".He is survived by a son William M. Tuttle, Jr., and wife Janet of Lyndonville, VT and a daughter Sherry Lynn Paquette of Suffield, CT as well as several grandchildren, sisters, nieces, and nephews.A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm Saturday, December 9, at Hale Funeral Home, Rte 113, in Thetford Center, VT.Online guestbook at www.halefuneralhomes.com .
